I love seeing the deer here. It has been dry for a while here and they didn't come around but we finally got rain one day last week and they came back around.

Thank you. Critters are so pretty. All so unique. Makes you wonder why humans are so boring. LOL Just shades of brown and very little variety among us. To keep us from being too prideful I guess.

very lovely render... a few years ago before all the building of houses took place, there was a mum deer with a fawn that came to visit. both nibbled on the grass and then decided to nap for a bit right next to my house. the window from which i was able to watch them allowed me to be only 9 or 10 feet from them, so i sat very quietly. it was utter magic...

I love watching the deer. We got to watch a mom, a grandma and fawn all summer a few years back. It was so cool to watch the fawn grow and lose it's spots. Have gotten pictures of them out in the backyard in the snow. They are beautfiul creatures.
