She had to use her left hand to help pry them open as most of her joints were just too stiff to cooperate under their own steam. “Damned arthritis,” the 40-something-yr-old woman mumbled to herself softly. “I’m too young for this shit.” The raven-haired woman slowly opened her right hand, this time using her left hand as the prybar. The next order of business was sitting up and getting her knees and hips to cooperate with her determined intentions. She gritted her teeth and forced her limbs to bend and unbend several times to at least lessen the stiffness. "Now maybe I can walk." The woman put on her well-worn pink slippers and then stumbled across her small studio toward a wall made up entirely of a mirror.
