Cool man. Do one on LOTR. That'd be cool.

nice use of the lens flare and text effects. i would suggest either all-color or all-monochrome next time, though. also, hitokiri battousai literally does not mean "assassin manslayer"--hitokiri were samurai assassins during the meiji revolution, and battousai literally means "master of the drawn blade." kenshin obtained the title battousai because of his mastery of the heaven flight holy sword style (hiten mitsurugi ryu). in real life, the battousai was a legendary hitokiri of the revolution; but just as in the anime, he vanished without a trace.

Hehe your close, but a little off. Battousai names Kenshin a master of Battou Jutsu, not of hiten mitsurugi ryu. One thing you mustnt have noticed was that Kenshin was named Battousai before he was even a master of Hiten Mitsurugi unless you havent actually watched the series hahah, he still had to learn kuzu ryu sen and the sucession technique of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu before becoming a master, Battou Jutsu was something that Hiko Seijirou taught Kenshin, but Kenshin himself mastered it and gained the name Battousai. And about the character Kenshin in meiji era your wrong about that too, there was never actually a Himura (Shinta) Kenshin. You see, Kenshin was firstly supposed to be modled after Hitokiri Kawakami Gensai, one of the four great Hitokiris of the Bakumatsu. He was famous for cutting down Kuma Shouzan in broad daylight with his unique, lightning-fast Furanui style of Kenjutsu(swordsmanship). They also made kenshin with characteristics of Okita Soushi of the Shinsengumi, and the mystery of Hajime Saitou. Other than that there was no particular design for the Kenshin Character. He took the hero who was usually tall and muscular, so they made the exact opposite getting the almost girly kenshin, and to get rid of the girliness they added the cross shape scar on the left cheek, which ultimatly became a key point in the transformation of Battousai to Kenshin. Got er now?
