the kitbashing in part comes about because Tannenbaums work can be a tough ask for a 3d model to coexist with. Ideally you want a group of models of similar resolutions and texture quality. Any big change in quality between them is very noticeable. And yes I very nearly did use Cybertenko's Sten Gun as well but the metallic texture on the sketchfab one just grabbed at me
