Description

I created this image a few years ago when I was in high school. Sorry that the image is so small, the original was much larger. If I can dig it up I will edit this image and replace it. The background was rendered using an old version of Terragen. The "organic thing" was rendered in 3D Studio MAX. And that's my hand there... I was holding a blue wax cube as a reference. I blurred the Teragen-generated background, as the focus was my hand. If you take a look near the bottom of the picture, you'll see that the image becomes less blurred the closer the "ground" gets to the camera. After putting this image together, it at first didn't look convincing. Adding a slight sepia tone to the image improved it considerably, as my hand was looking quite pink otherwise.
