Description
Although the sign did warn her of their existence, Kayla was not expecting to actually see a low-flying elephant, or that they’d be so small and cute!
==AMY’S NOTES==
I had gotten all the way to the final render stage with this one, with the fairy reaching out to a butterfly, when I happened to pull back the camera and noticed that the set had a second sign, this one warning of low flying elephants. So of course I had to swap out the butterfly for one of those :-)
Rendered in July 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11.3 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. Postwork in ON1 Effects. View full size on my blog.

Lovely scheme color

Thanks! The Curious Respite set is already so colorful, and the flowers by Lisa's Botanicals really up the colors quite a bit. I wanted the fairy's outfit to match the color scheme a bit better, but I couldn't come up with the right colors, so I think the pastel blue works OK. I tried lots of colors for the elephant, too, until I came up with his own skin tinted orange :-)

Lovely image. So bright and cute and cheerful!

Thanks! I love how bright and colorful the original set and the flowers add-on both are. I tried a bunch of Little Design's materials on the fairy's dress (and also on the elephant) and never quite found materials I thought were "perfect," but these were close enough, and really it's the flowers and the set that catch your eye! I tried making the elephant fuzzy, but in the end, tinting his skin orange worked out better :-)

A fantasy scene full of enjoyment and beauty.

Thanks! And let's not forget: also full of a miniature flying elephant :-)

Thanks for the comment! This set and the flowers add-on are both so bright and cheerful that they made me feel better just by working with them :-)

This is an enchanting scene, it’s very colorful and beautifully done !!

Thank you so much! I don't often work with these bright, bold colors, but they work so well in this set!

Lovely scene and funny too. Love the sign!

Thanks for the comment! The other sign said something about "boundless journey" one direction and something else the other direction, and it was cute, but it wasn't nearly as inspired (or inspiring) as the "low flying elephants" sign!

What an enchanting scene & the flying elephant is really cute & clever! I love this!

Thanks so much! The flying elephant is also powered by fairy magic, of course, b/c those wings wouldn't be sufficient to carry it through the air. But this looks like a place where magic happens! :-)
OmniFX
Very enchanting and cute render. Great idea with the tiny flying elephant. Super job!

Thanks so much! I'm very glad I saw the elephant sign before I completely finished this scene b/c the butterfly I originally put in there wasn't nearly as magical as a flying fairy elephant :-)

Oh, wow! I never thought to have elephant fairies! Now that is a great idea! After all, they are gods in some cultures too! Love this image! Most amazing and wonderful work!

The coloring here is really bright but not garish. I like that the fairy's clothing are a pastel blue in contrast to the warmer colors of the flowers and tiny elephant and the deep greens of the other foliage. What really sells it for me is the tender curiosity the fairy is expressing with pose and facial expression relating to the tiny elephant. Really lovely work. I'm so glad I took the time to go back here and begin to catch up! =)
