Description
Navarre had sized up the situation instantly, and relaxed a bit, but he caught the sudden movement by his side. She had instinctually, partially from rage and fear, drawn the laser pistol from its holster. Her face relayed her thoughts clearly as she stared at the silent form before them. She trembled, barely able to contain what she was feeling within.
"Well?" Navarre turned slightly to face her. "Kill him again; just to make sure he's dead."
Her finger trembled over the trigger for several seconds, and for an instant, Navarre thought that she just might fire the weapon.
Slowly, she straightened, returning the weapon to the holster.
"Sorry, Captain." Her voice was little more than a whisper as she stared at the motionless Slave Trader before her. "I've got this."
"Good." Navarre nodded as he retrieved his communicator. "Sill, We're good here. Sensor report?"
"We're still in the clear." The mans voice responded through the communicator. "System is holding a good lock on the two of you. First sign of another vessel and I'll pull you out of there."
"Works for me." Navarre nodded, despite the man not being able to see him. "W're going to do a search for those three faint like readings." He snapped the device shut. "Behind me, Blue." He stated to the young woman with authority in his voice. "I'll lead. You direct."
"Yes, Sir." She nodded eagerly. Her moment of anger and fear having passed from her now.

Splendid image; great expression on Blue's face. By the way, hasn't she got a name? 'Bue' seems a bit distant.

Rashiya; mentioned further back in the story. Navarre nick named her blue from the beginning as a way of teasing her and putting her at ease. Thank you so much for the interest. I had gotten so accustomed to blue that I had actually forgotten her name as well.
