Description
This is Emma Frost, aka the White Queen in Marvel's X-Men comics. She's been a villain and a hero several times over, but is probably best known nowadays for her long-term relationship with Cyclops and the leadership position she's taken with the main X-Men. But long before that, early on in her turn to the light side, she was the co-leader of a team of young mutants called Generation X, and that is the version I've focused on here.
Introduced as part of the seminal Dark Phoenix Saga, Emma is a wealthy mutant with telepathic powers (and in later stories, a secondary mutation that gives her diamond skin but makes her immune to all telepathic powers, including her own). As a member of the powerful secret organization known as the Hellfire Club, she went up against the X-Men multiple times, and eventually opened her own opposing school, the Massachusetts Academy, with its own secret super-team known as the Hellions that often went up against the X-Men's New Mutants. But an unexpected attack ended with Emma in a coma and her students dead.
She awoke from her coma at the X-Men's mansion, many years later, and found herself in a very different world than the one she'd left. In fact, she had no idea how different; soon after, she discovered that the X-Men she was living with had almost entirely been secretly replaced by members of the Phalanx, a techno-organic race intent on conquering the world. The only remaining fully organic people in the mansion - Emma, the long-retired X-Man Banshee, the imprisoned villain Sabretooth, and youngest X-Man Jubilee - ended up working together to escape and prevent the Phalanx from harvesting the next generation of mutants. After the Phalanx's defeat - at the cost of the life of one of that next generation - Emma, who had been adrift after the death of her students, found a new sense of purpose in helping these new young mutants learn how to survive and thrive; she and Banshee became the co-headmasters of the Massachusetts Academy, better known as Generation X!
This is my take on Emma Frost circa the beginning of Generation X, specifically patterned after an outfit she wears in issue #1. She should properly also be wearing a choker, but I couldn't find a good one for this outfit. For those unfamiliar with Emma, this is actually one of her more modest outfits. (As the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, for example, she mostly ran around in lingerie and thigh-high boots, and her outfits since have also tended to the racier side.)
