After Luigi Russolo
I start a new series of 10 images, in no real order this time. it is a question of drawing up each time a portrait of a woman, strong enough to affirm her identity in a world dominated by patriarchy. These women of different eras, origins, and different ages continue to fight for their visibility, despite prejudice. My list is not exhaustive, there is so much to say; likewise, the dominant male gaze remains on the lookout under the presence, in each image, of an invisible man, who retains a share of power. Finally, each painting chosen places this fight for better visibility for women in a history of art largely shaped by men.

J'ai vu une émission très intéressante - chaîne parlementaire - sur les femmes peintres du début du XXème siècle. Certaines autres ont été aussi de remarquables aventurières! Dans tous les cas, il leur a fallu lutter!

J'ai vu pour ma part, une émission sur Arte, sur les femmes pionnières de l'automobile, jusqu'aux pilotes de courses actuelles. Il était temps que l'histoire soit réécrite dans de nombreux domaines, pour redonner une juste visibilité aux femmes. Le tableau de Russolo, est évidemment un éloge de la beauté liée à la vitesse et au dynamisme, il n'empêche que le point de vue futuriste de l'époque est à l'image du patriarcat dominant. Dernier détail, je n'ai rien trouvé de plus élégant que d'associer ta superbe Alfa Roméo 6C au portrait de cette femme remarquable.
