Trying to work up a Classic John Carter of Mars style Martian. Anyone know how to stretch upward M4's torso?

Ooh, love the four arms on the Martian!
Not sure what you mean by stretching M4's torso up. I'd probably rotate the hip forward and then bend the abdomen and chest back to make it look like he's reaching up more (rather than slouching)??
