Marshmallows are always worth the risk. Just don't get too close to the flame ;)

Certainly a concern if you're a creature made of wood, like Kodama! But he has his beer tankard ready, should any of his branches catch fire. (I actually looked up whether beer can be used to douse a fire, and the answer is yes, as it's mostly water.)

This is a fantastic scene, I love the creatures, although it is a little perverse for creatures of wood to be sitting around a fire where wood is burning. 😶😲🙄

Thanks for the comment! And yeah, that's why I gave them large tankards of beer, b/c apparently beer can put out a fire if no water is available :-) As for the firewood, that is, of course, from deadfall, not from live wood!
