Description
Haven't drawn anything for a while so I thought I'd have a go this evening, and this is the result. I wanted to say thanks to my friend Tariq, who gave me this book (the one in the picture) for Christmas, so I based this drawing around it.
I'd also like to thank Cartesius for giving me some tips on designing a book in C4D :)

The book is basically made like this: four U shaped splines lofted together to form the cover, spine and rear. The pages are just a cube slotted into the lofted spline. I stuck the book on its side on my scanner to get the textures for the pages. Cartesius used to have a JPG on his website (www.cartesiuscreations.com) showing how to do this, but I don't think it's there any more.

I have that book too. (It's not that thick, but who's counting?) Toward the end she subscribes to the 'one damned thing after another' theory of history, which took away from a great, more patiently composed first half. Now try modeling her 'God: A History' book. It's much more well-written.
