Description
I was talking to Marius mifdesign by text. I figured I would look older than former class mates would since, I worked outside for many years. I subcontracted with a sheet metal company and a roofing company. On a super market, I used 680 tubes of caulking that an architect insisted on being done, that really did not serve any purpose except for me to earn money. HEEHAW ( took a week)
I am sure that I posted this photo before, but I love the pickup so much. it has so much class

One of my best friends when I farmed back in ND had one of these. His was orangis/red and white. I think you know the color. He bought it brand new and was very proud of it. His first band new vehicle. One day, he got distracted after draining the oil on the engine and drove it before adding new oil. He was so very unhappy with that result. He and I used to have little competitions. The following year, I bought a brand new 1973 Ford Ranger dark metallic blue and white, my first brand new vehicle ever. My brother and cousins helped him build his new house high on a hill just to the south of my farmstead. Not saying he meant to look down on me, but that was the effect. LOL.

I did a similar thing. I had opened the cock for antifreeze to change the fluid and forgot to close it. driving around afterwards caused it to over heat and damaged my head. I went to a place that repairs heads and told him what happened. he told me that he had the same brand of head on the shelf and offered for a good price. I benefited, because the head had been shaved which increased the compression and horse power. I had trouble with my starter cranking it. a friend that drove big rigs his whole life gave me a truck battery. I never had any problem cranking it then. I had been pushing it and popping the clutch no matter the weather

My gramps was a Ford pickup fanatic...every year a new one found its way to his house...he was a water well driller and worked his trucks hard carrying heavy equipment daily...I noticed on the back wall that someone had a huge liking for Elvis...great shot of the spit shined (lol) truck!
