Description

The materials I used to produce this painting on binderboard were oil and a type of spray paint called cold zinc. It is a primer-like paint that is used to appy to fresh welds to help deter rust. When applied to the binderboard as a base coat it created a great crackling effect which could then be painted on once dry. I think the material lends itself to the subject matter, which was inspired by some work being done near my home. chromafly@hotmail.com
