So, do you guys hear that? You don't even have to strain. It's the sound of something Ginormous collapsing. Seems to me the last few years have ripped the ol band aide off a whole bunch of crazy and mean. We've got thirty one flavors of plague, economies and the norms of society sliding into the Abyss, wars and rumors of wars. Hell, even the climate is checking out like a Vegas Dealer. Stuff burning, melting, and flooding where it never did before. New and improved despots and dictators cropping up like dandelions. Let's not forget famine. That's a biggie. Could we like, arrange for a Zoom meeting for the whole population and have a history/ civics class? I mean, the only thing that separates us... well... you,, I don't qualify,, from animals is the rules, right? and the social contract to go by them. But then again, we don't do truth anymore; not since the advent of "Alternative Facts" I am an American monster, so I tend to follow stuff here. Everybody is flinging quotes around these days. "A house divided" and "Fear itself" and "We need Breathing room," Meantime, we get the lovely media war between Methuselah, and the world's oldest living Oompa Loompa, while everybody else screams in chorus behind em. Who needs critical thinking when you've got Tik Tok right? Most are just stuck in the middle going, WTF? I know some quotes too. Things fall apart. The center cannot hold. A man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a Heaven for? Do unto others as you would have done unto you, With all that, I still have faith in you guys. You have such potential for love courage, and rising above. There's another quote I disagree with. It says "You can cure ignorance, but you can't fix stupid." Yeah, you can.
