Description
"Keep it distracted with the torches a bit longer, if you would!" Sir Squeaker scampered up the leg of the Iron Golem toward the creature's thorax. The wizard's scroll, strapped to his back, would stop the creature if it was placed at the heart of the Golem. "I must be daft!" muttered the noble rodent to himself as he eyed an open space at the base of the Golem's rib cage.
"He's going to make it!" the Cat Girl cried.
" 'Ee'd better ef 'e knows what's best fer 'im!" muttered Jorl Bloodbringer. Aloud he cried, "I nivver doubted yeh, yeh crazy bugger! Just a bit further!"
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.1029 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow (spectral bloom) and vignette. The Catgirl is based on A3, the Dwarf is a stand alone figure by Sixus1. The setting is from Cybertenko.

Engaging narrative scene full of action, nicely done. The expressions are great, especially Squeakers' and the bloom from the torches really adds atmosphere.

Thanks, Joe. The bloom from the torches is partly due to a bit of volumetric atmosphere I added. It increases rendering time but gives some nice effects around light and depth. Squeaker is a very old piece of legacy content and his facial posing is a bit limited but I was very pleased with what I got here. I really appreciate the comment. =)

Gracious, that's a nail biter moment!! I can almost hear the dramatic music in the background! I hope Sir Squeaker successfully completes his task and all goes according to plan! Love their expressions and how the colors came through in the lighting, esp. of Jori's outfit!

The lighting and colors have been getting better and better as I get a better understanding of how to use light in Superfly (especially in these dark scenes). It's a journey, n'est-ce pas? =)
