What we're looking at would be more like a regular apartment where we'd just live normally taking care of ourselves (I agree with you on those other places). It would just be in a community where all the residents are 55+ adults. No young kids partying every night! LOL

I have no idea how life is in the US but, I saw 'interesting' things in the news. I hope for you for a little nice and safe house with a little garden where you can have your private moments, having a coffee in one hand and holding somebody else hand with the other, enjoying sunshine together. That simple stuff I wish you find. If it has a private indoors/outdoors pool, it's just a bonus.
