Sometimes it's NOT good to be king. You have to base decisions on the good of the realm and not on the popularity of the deed. One day in this kingdom of yore, Bernie the dragon, invited himself to the dinner table with the express purpose of reminiscing old times and maybe knock down a few pints of ale in the process. But, dragons being dragons things sort of got out of hand. Oh, the village kids thought Bernie was an eleven on the cool factor scale of 1 to 10. The village ladies doted over the beautiful pattern of his colorful scales and conveniently re-heated their tea kettle every time Bernie roared or belched. It was the king who was the spoil sport! He was always a party pooper! During his inaugural he threw the village idiot out of his gala event when he discovered the Ol' Geezer was whizzing on his prized begonias! There were other instances as well but those are tales best left for another time. So I say in passing: "Adieu mon ami!" and many thank yous for starting my BBQ briquettes! It was a time saver!
