Description
When You Are Old © William Butler Yeats
When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

a darling little statue; she's lovely. the poem is sad and tender. these are sweet together.

Beginning to feel a bit of that... Wonderful photo!

This is one of the many pineapples I have grown, and felt she needed a companion... the small ceramic statuette was (and still is) subject to destruction by roving raccoons, but they seemed to partially create something similar to posted items here... personal art maybe

This new upload (capture), looks as always very nice! I am very sorry for the copy/paste comments, but otherwise I can not manage them all and because of my spine I have no other choice. I wish you a good new week and stay safe and cheerful, because something happened so fast.
