Description
The starship continued its forward surge as a plasma stream trailed the destroyed nacelle. With its shields completely knocked out, another deadly impact struck the secondary hull amidship, sending a bellowing ball of fire, smoke and debris expanding outwards into the darkness of space, lighting the region as brightly as a sun. The great ship shuddered hard and lurched sharply to its right. Lights flickered; some went out completely even as others dimmed.Even mortally wounded, the starship continued its motion defiantly as though by its own sheer will to defend the disable freighter.
