Description
Sir Squeaker's voice could plainly be heard from within the Iron Golem's thorax. "There! I think that's where the scroll should be placed!" This statement was followed by blazing bolts of energy playing along the Golem's form. "Oh my... This is rather more than..." And the noble rodent fell silent.
"Look at thet, will yeh! Tis like Chinee fireworks!" Jorl exclaimed.
"Squeaker! Get out!" shouted the Cat Girl.
As the mystic energy of the scroll's spell danced around the Iron Golem it's movement ceased and it began to change it's appearance. Metamorphosis from iron to stone was underway.
"Yeh 'ad best start ter gather yon shinies, girl!" Jorl exclaimed. "Me prior use of teh Wizard's work 'as not always been quite what yeh'd ken!"
"But Squeaker!" the Cat Girl said, staring at the dancing energy engulfing the Golem
"Dinna yeh trouble on 'is account. 'E chose 'is path. I be watchin' for 'im." Jorl moved cautiously closer to the motionless changing figure of the Golem.
With this assurance the cat girl reluctantly turned to the treasure adorning the statue of the old monarch on his throne.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.1029 with Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked in Photoshop for a bit of glow (spectral bloom) and vignette. The pyrotechnics is a prop by Shaaramuse3D rendered in the original picture, not postwork. The Catgirl is based on A3, the Dwarf is a stand alone figure by Sixus1. The setting is from Cybertenko.

I certainly can't take credit for how easy Shaaramuse3D's effects are to use. In the past all that energy stuff would have been postwork but these props are GREAT. =)

Super work with the lighting and effects, particularly where its picked up by the metal and stonework. The over-the-shoulder pov also adds nicely to the drama of the scene, by putting the viewer in the action. Great illustration.

Very dramatic scene, with fantastic light effects! But I, too, am worried about poor Sir Squeaker, though I suspect he makes it through the ordeal, perhaps with some "enhancements"?! I hope the shiny stuff turns out to be worth all the trouble they went to to get it!!

I'm working on the next installment of the story now... slowed down a bit by COVID. >.< Maybe I'll work on it again later today. I'm really glad you have been sticking with this little foray in to Fantasy for teh Mollz. =)

Like the way the effects brighten the walls. Adds to depth as well as realism.
