I assume you've just been there. Your pictures are nice. This shot shows the Canadian Falls. Did you know that the Canada side has an elevator that takes you down behind the falls to 3 different tunnels. Each tunnel leads you to a different place directly behind the falling water. If you reach over the rail, the falling water touches your fingertips, that's how close you are. And the noise is deafening. You don't forget it.

I didn't know it had an elevator! I did walk behind the falls but never tried the elevator. That sounds pretty cool!

The elevator is located in the lodge building to the right of the falls. You can see it in your picture. They charge you of course, but it is totally worth it. Once down in the open area under the falls, you are given complete rain gear and then you are free to roam all 3 tunnels. If you ever go back, be sure to do it. The noise from the water is so loud, you have to scream directly into the ear of the person you want to talk to, or they won't hear you.
