This is the former Imperial Star Destroyer Vengeful Dawn. With the collapse of the Empire they are on the run from the New Republic redemption forces. They hide in the more lawless parts of the galaxy where right belongs to the one who fires first. They trade for or steal the parts and supplies needed to keep the ailing ship functioning. They struggle to keep themselves and their families safe from local factions, pirates and the maybe lethal ‘Justice’ of the New Republic. Some of them still wear the uniform of the Empire even polish obsolete badges of rank and dream of a rise back to power. Some wear the rag tag of the rogue pirate traders they have become and dream simply of a rich haul from the next freighter. Many of those with families simply dream of finding a new place away from war, away from politics, the greed, a quiet place to raise a family in peace ... A New Hope.
