Description
I wanted to see what happens if I render a tree with dynamic "leaves" in the Hair Room. Looks like evergreen needles of some sort, so I will likely use that in a Yule picture down the line, tweaked to an appropriate length. The hard part is isolating the branches that need the needles on them but some props have that area as its own group or material.

This is wonderful.

Great idea, and the results came out well! I think the Hair Room has the potential to do lots of interesting things, including grass and leaves and animal coats and fuzzy clothing. The one thing it doesn't do that well, in my opinion, is the original thing it was designed for :-)

I agree, I've never gotten a decent head of human hair out of it but I use it for fur fairly often, and grass. I'll mess with leaves a bit more, too, and I'm gonna try fringe on a table runner too.
