Description
Captain’s log: August 25th
Arrival on this uncharted deserted island a week ago was purely accidental. The storm pushed us far off course and damaged our vessel. After supervising the crew to set up a rudimentary camp, I decided to explore further inland while repairs are being made to the ship.
So James, our map maker, and I have ventured into the vegetation. He is quite skilled in drawing so he made the following sketches on what we viewed. Everything here is so different from what we are familiar. The plants, while quite strange to us are very beautiful. We will try to name them and describe them in detail later.
For now, we have decided to focus only on the plants. Hopefully we will be able to come back later to observe animals and insects, etc. Only time will tell, as we hope the ship’s repairs will be finished very soon and we can continue our journey.

I like the second one the best with all those green disc's, like an alien venus fly trap. I'm sure one of the ensign's will get eaten, lol.. ;)
