Here is the second picture, I did this one for fun! Are the birds trying to protect their nests by chasing the horses away? Or are they playing?

So cute! I know that's the Belgian coat and draft shape, but they look almost like Haflingers (if they were a bit shorter in the leg, perhaps). Given how much birds like to interact with horses (using them mostly as soft places to rest and do their business and occasionally as sources of dribbled grain), I'm gonna go with "they're playing"! :-) Love how the horses' coats complement the autumn colors!
