Description

Captain's Log: September 1st After a couple of days rest to ease sore muscles and heal blisters, the crew is hard at it again with the ship's repairs. James, our map maker, has shared his sketches with some of the lads and they have suggested that the next exploration be birds. Several colorful, strange looking of the species, have flown very near the ship perhaps looking for a bread crumb or two. So today, James and I will be seeking out our feathered friends. I know that tonight the lads will be pestering James for a peek at drawings of what we have observed. It is good that the crew has taken an interest in our findings. A diversion is good, as life on this island is becoming more difficult by the day.
