I kind of have mixed feelings about this AI trend... Some pretty neat things can be done with it, and I've played briefly with a few of them. But I still prefer making my art from the ground up. Although in a way Poser and DAZ, and so on are kind of AI themselves. I could never paint skin shades, or textures as accurately as these apps do with their shader facilities.

I like the dialogue above, and I understand rod...but everytime we use a filter or manipulation, we're using software to do some of our work. (A photographer alters the image by the mere choice of lens.) So AI isn't that far removed. In any case what skin---ala the other barb (bakapo), who's also doing AI now---alabaster! And love that expression, and that amazing shawl and neck thing. (Don't know what it's called, but it's gorgeous!) Fine angle too, with a monet-like background. Beautiful and haunting.

Impressive and evocative image... it seems that several of these AIs have some difficulty with human faces in the three quarters, and end up distorting the eyes? I've encountered that problem in my limited dabblings in midjourney ...
