Description
On many of the island chains in the Caribbean there a sevral sandy Atols with palm and other trees that are between a half mile and one mile from the mainland. These are often used for picnics by the locals and visitors to the islands. Many honeymooning couples have been taken to these atols to spend the day in isolation, only to be forgotten by the hotel.
This is an attempt to capture one of these frequented in my youth. Comments pro or con welcomed.

A nice render, but need some work on the hull ship(a new more concrete texture),and try to change the water color...i suggest green with white stripes foam.

Thanks for your suggestions. I did try to change the color of the boat hull but did not see one I liked so decided to stay with black. I did have the default Tropical water color but somehow it appeared to clash with the other colors used. I will give your suggestion a try and if successful will post the results. Thanks for taking time to comment. DeeVee, Joe.

very nice Joe. Remind me of the sandbars along the rivers here in the south. They are also alot of fun to go onto and picnic. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to change the texture of the folded sails, when I first opened the image I thought for a second it was a rock formation that was brought to the front of the image...and its not a major thing but maybe a courser material for that would help. Great image though, my friend.

A lovely image!! I agree with Ron about the sail...took me a moment to realize what it was - all together though, it's great.

Sorry about the sail! I goofed and updated the image before I saw the comment about the sail! I do agree with you though. I would have liked Red sails if it was a sunset. I will try for white. thanks for commenting it is appreciated. DeeVee.
