I'm a big fan of Waterhouse, and so I tried to see how AI handled his The Lady of Shalot--AI is no competition for Mr. Waterhouse :)
Thanks for the view and for your comments--greatly appreciate your support.

it won't pass for a true copy, but it isn't bad. the trees and water still look like trees and water and the girl is still lovely. I like it!

Interesting, the boat looks like there are two or more, a little strange. Still very cool creation. Excellent!

Yes, more than one boat, and she looks like she can't decide which one she want to take :)

I wasn't familiar with Waterhouse---I looked up his painting, wow it's rich. Your version has all these lights and an almost impressionistic quality to the water. I love the posture of the woman, leaning forward a bit, as if she's yearning for another place...and her beautiful red hair, and that very AI-like droop of the greenery. I know only a little about the myth (from arthurian origins, if I'm not mistaken---at least some of it), so don't know much about it. But your image has magic, mystery and a beautiful patina. Love the lights in the background...

A subject I have attempted many times myself (you may remember my series some time ago illustrating the full poem, inspired by Waterhouse's "I'm half sick of shadows" and "The Mirror Crack'd"). I would have been very surprised to see an AI manage the detail and subtlety of the master, but it's an intriguing picture nonetheless; almost looks like a tapestry in places.

Lovely colours here Barbara! I am so glad you are able to create such fine art, now the covid has lessened but not necessarily disappeared.

It's an interesting poetry but it's more interesting to listen to her song :) Nice work done!

This is fantastic, and has that beautiful classical look - well done, Barb.
Now, I'm trying to remember.... There was a song of the same title, but I can't remember who performed it - it was really lovely...
