There's a story that Putin as a young man saw a rat defend itself by a simple, blind attack at its antagonist's throat. It was said that he interpreted that desperate manoeuvre as a never-to-be-forgotten lesson: When cornered, attack; and kill by any means.

Danke, biste nicht mehr uff em Ukraine Tripp oder haste auch Angst um deinen Wohlstand und evtl. nen kalten Hintern zu bekommen? Ist nicht die Schuld von der Ukraine, aber von den Hohlköpfen im Bundestag, alle haben alles verschlafen und nun ist Panik, bei uns ist es auch nett besser, alles Hirnlose!

A poignant message. My prayers go out to those impacted by this and other wards.

A very wise man once said pride is enmity, and enmity is hatred. I feel that prideful men, like Putin, hate others and think their oppression will result in getting what they want. In the end, such men die a pathetic lonely death. We have many examples from history - Hitler, Saddam Husain, Kaddafi, just to name a few.
