Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!

Awesome video!

If animation ever had a master, this master is our friend JohnnyM...Impressive ! Is this your best video ? Hard to say because you would probably say "the best is yet to come !". Your attention to details must be noticed, like the movement of the water as this horrible beast is moving.

A most fabulous awesome movie, impressive environment, amazing organic materials - always very hard to achieve their proper look, here they look way too real - great natural camera movement, impressive atmosphere and lighting, superb realistic FX and water movement, brilliant awesome render. Always unbelievable immersive sound.

Oh ! No ! I will have some nightmares because of you tonight ! The movie is just amazing. I like the soundtrack and the light effect on the monster in the last think. Please tell us if the woman will be safe or if she'll need the help of our four-legged friend created by our friend Gaius. A DJ mouse could be useful too to create diversion... ;-) A great professional video ! Congrats!

Brilliantly put together. Don't know how you manage to fit all those frames into the story. Excellent!

I wish I knew the series...but it doesn't matter because your animation is first rate. You say you used the soundtrack from the show---it's very clear, creepy and effective. (If you added anything, well done.) The opening is a drone-like journey into the center of this tunnel; and your swiveling camera is very effective: We float back into hell rather than tip toe or creep or race. And a sweet transition, with a slow fade to black. (That's no small point: This whole piece is an airborne float through a tunnel of hell; and that transition keeps the smoothness and creepiness in tact.)
Then it all goes red---intensifying everything! (Red's passionate, and of course the hue of blood...it'll always intensify a scene.) Then blue again, and those mesmerising squares. I love how the light moves 'through' them, to draw us back and back...It's like an optical effect which draws us back, like a trance. Then the monster appears: voila! I recall that modern monster flicks use more high tech monsters; but there's something about this monster that also harks back to the earlier films, where it's a real animal. You retain that here, which makes it even scarier. (Let's put it this way, I wouldn't wanna have lunch with this dude...). Nice shiny coat too! And the woman is in grave-pale hues, almost alabaster, which makes it even more creepy, like she was lifted out of the grave. (Terrific choice!) And then you shift the angle and show them walk by us and go the other direction: that's a real 'johnny' transition, you just have a way of giving us both angles, and swiveling, turning, etc. (It's good 'visual music'---ie how images move like music itself.) You know, I'm always struck that these videos are a complete story, even though they're 2 to 4 minutes long: not easy to do, but you do it everytime; you craft a complete tale in under 5 minutes...terrific work, Johnny. (Commercial animations have teams to work with, while you're doing this alone: You deserve all the praise you get.) Creepy, seamless and strangely beautiful. (Thanks again for your comments, they are so uplifting; I appreciate your commitment and kindness to what you see, it means the world to me.) Have a great halloween!

Spectacular! All the thrill of a roller coaster ride with the added bonus of the scare factor...wouldn't care to meet up with this dude on a dark night! You are so very talented, your work is special and deserves more than the small accolades here...Thank you for sharing your personal brand of art/video...You leave me breathless, wanting more!

I don't look at the main gallery any more and missed this when you posted it on Oct. 22. I am not familiar with the series but I'm sure it's a great tribute to the show. Great work as always which deserves more views on this site.

whoa, dark, closed in places and water scare me separately, together makes this extra terrifying. good work, the heartbeat and screams are perfect.

The sound in this is top notch, those spider webs look awesome at the start. Blowing in the wind with the movement while traveling down that tunnel.
I found myself watching a spider web on my car blowing in the wind while driving, thinking of this animation. It looks realistic.
The scream caught me of guard lol, nice touch. The wading water effect sound is brilliant, I especially like how you did your fade in and out effects. Especially with the blue tunnel light. Impressive.
Well done, Awesome animation. Happy Halloween.

Very cool video!!!

Unbelievable, Johnny, how you take us into this visual kind of nightmare. Although, I first thought that I was traveling in a human body, but that suddenly changed. It is really phenomenal how you can make exactly the right music timbre. It is very exciting when those red squares appear, etc. Congratulations, I am full of admiration. p.s., Many thanks for your sweet comments with me, I really appreciate it.

Great work and presentation as always, You really brought this concept to life. Maybe I need to send out a rescue party for the young maiden, or is it too late?
