Rien qu'en voyant ta vignette j'ai pensé De la Tour et "Marie Madeleine". Vanitas, vanitatum et omnia vanitas... Superbe rendu des textures ( ah, cette soie! ) et très belle lumière!

Forgot to mention that the art here is great - I usually end up finding jpegs and posting them in the art's image surface, but these two are perfect for gothic and period pieces. I sometimes my own hanging art, though it's not appropriate for some scenes. Not everyone likes ships, airplanes, and military historicals...
Art defines a scene and its characters as much as light, setting, clothes, poses, or hair/makeup.

My images form the small pedagogical theater of a history of art revisited as a recreational activity. The story that can be found there goes back and forth between the foreground, where the protagonist stands, and the background, where the paintings that stimulated me stand. Of course I start from an acquaintance, an understanding with the painting and its author, but I aim for the lightness of a fictitious interpretation through the image that I make of it.

Merci beaucoup. Image après image, je suis devenu très sensible au posé des drapés, pas seulement pour leur jeu avec le montré/caché des corps, mais aussi pour la créativité qu'il demande avec les vêtements dynamiques : il faut souvent faire faire au modèle des mouvements extrêmes ou bizarres pour obtenir le rendu naturel final. Cela passe par le processus erreur / correction au long de nombreux calculs. Quant à la lumière, étudier les tableaux ou les photographies est une bonne école.
