Description
Last photo in the series is the original flower image I photographed. I ran the photo a few times through the program Chromatic Edges, which applies digital filters based on real photography filters. I liked the results that made it more like a painting or emphasized the shape of the flower in a flat almost cut out sense. First two images in the series are using a 'negative' filter, the third uses 'contrasted blue'. I like how the first image maintains more of the original colouring of the photo.

It is so nice to be able to admire all variations, Amanda, and love all the color shades. I also think the original photo is fantastic, it's a beautiful specimen, which I would really like in my garden (so, I hope the photo was taken in your garden) ;-)

Thank you! Yes, it was from my garden. It's a lovely flower that's bloomed every year, happy to have it around.
