ooh, love this old partly-creepy, partly-nostalgic family portrait, the way old photos or paintings gaze out at us across the chasms...your postwork was just right. It has a patina of age, a little haze, and a feeling of reaching back to the unreachable. Love the elongated figures, and those stares. They're so pale and fragile...it kind of follows well from the Addams portrait, but this one feels like whispers from the ancestral past. Really well done, Barb. Another terrific addition to this recent batch. (I'll post an update when Steve knows the results, in case he can't...)
