Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin was reviled by the Tsar's family, some of whom plotted to kill him. On December 30, 2016 they first tried to poison him, but, when that failed, they shot him. However, that also did not work, and he ran away. Finally, they captured him, tied him up and threw him into an ice hole of a river where he finally drowned. The epitome of pure evil. Unfortunately there are some modern-day people vying for that title

god, you know no matter how many times I've read a thing about Rasputin, I still have no clue what he did, exactly! I like your description--it sums things up in a nutshell. I never quite understood how much damage he did, for example, or if the royal family wasn't as corrupt...and I didn't realize he died in the river (it's much clearer now). Your render is swirling in dark energies, w/ swirling lines around him---like Munch's "the scream". And he looks very earnest and twisted. As for modern people vying for his title, oh boy are there ever those. (MTG? DJT?) The main dude vying for his title is worse. Your render is a fine capture of a twisted, destructive man...(i think your next upload should be groucho marx, singing "hooray for captain spaulding! my african explorer...") (nah, don't do that: this series is too good to interrupt!)
