Chemo can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 8 hours or more. In most cases a patient can get plenty of time to read, listen to music, to have conversations with other patients or just sit and reflect. On this day, Kambili drifts off into herself and dreams of being any other place then here, face any other challenge but this one. To live any other life than the one the creator has chosen for her.

It may be important to remember that others may have it a lot worse than our own present circumstances...some just don't have a choice in the matter. Having had seen someone close to me go through this, I can personally confirm her wanting to be anywhere but there is a wish for the many that go thorough it. This is touching and sad scene, yet so well executed. :-(

Thanks much JohnnyM ... I do worry that my series does not offend others, but at the same time I just want to do some work that is real and not just, you know the same old Barbie doll figure just standing there.
