Wow! I never knew that it grew on trees, always thought it was on low bushes...great capture Richard...thanks for the 'lesson' thats one of the reasons I love your work, you always have something I never heard of or saw before...so it grows in Texas?

it usually grows where the weather is not so hot. A man that worked for me in Tulsa went out each year and climbed trees for mistletoe. he would put on consignment in small stores and they would pay him cash or he could get merchandise from the store. Northern Texas it does grow. it can kill trees if they get too overloaded. mistletoe is a parasite getting food from the trees. thanks for your comments
