Bonsoir ! Je ne peux qu'être d'accord avec ton avis, malheureusement ! Néanmoins, ne t'arrête pas de créer : c'est ce qui rend la vie plus jolie et supportable. Nous avons tous besoin de jolies images comme la tienne pour espérer ou, au moins, nous changer les idées. Pour ma part, mon travail me prend mon énergie et la meilleure part de moi-même. Je vais essayer de faire une image pour me faire penser à autre chose et surtout, faire quelque chose qui me plait:-) A très bientôt !

I know how you feel,,,it seems that the world has gone insane. Horrific autocratic world leaders being voted in by an increasingly ignorant, misinformed populous, the world-wide devastating effects of global warming, hunger, crime. The plundering of nature and her bounty (e.g., the Chinese raping the oceans and Bolsonaro destroying the Amazon Rain Forest--the earth's lungs). Sociopaths like Elon Musk taking over in areas they have no experience or business in which to be involved--oh, right, they have the money to do whatever they wish...Criminals such as tRump still walking the streets freely with publicly-paid for security, and more fascists like him who want to steal the upcoming elections, destroy Democracy here in the US. In a nutshell, it's the rapacious greed of the few and the ignorance of the many that are killing freedoms and actual life on earth. It is all nauseating. But you can be sure that Putin is smiling.

But we must not be worn down...many problems can be addressed if the majority of people who feel as we do, vote, stand up and fight the monsters who are in power or want to wrest power from those who care as we do. But, time is fleeting, and, if we give up, don't recognize the urgency of the moment, all will be lost. And, I do mean ALL.

Après des semaines loin du site moi aussi, je lis tes mots de découragement tout en observant cette version graphique très belle et colorée d'une de tes photos. Pour moi qui suis souvent dans le doute en matière d'inspiration, dans ma photographie comme ailleurs, je trouve ta réaction saine et même encourageante. Il faut savoir prendre de la distance parfois pour mieux revenir, voir ce qu'on y gagne, et ce qu'on risque d'y perdre. Il y a quelques années, je suis venu dans ta galerie pour l'inspiration et le regard portés dans tes photos, et je reste quelque part persuadé que tu as encore des ressources à trouver dans ta photographie, aussi spectaculaires et esthétiques les paramétrages de DDG soient-ils.
