The last one is magnificent, my friend. I've always wanted to visit this city, and you made beautiful pictures of Lubeck, Christian.

Looks like a very beautiful city you've captured. Feels like you're really there looking at these!

beautiful shots and mixed moods, from yearning and moody to bright and sharp...the first shot has all the moodiness of a deep sunset (or sunrise), with the mysterious shapes which that time of day creates...
the next two shots show a city, i assume, at sunrise---the buildings aren't lit up yet, there seems to be no activity inside the windows...so you captured the quiet slumbering beast of a city before the day begins. Some beautiful views.
then a passageway---outside a church? The arches suggest a church. And no one is there---you must have been there very early---and you caught a nostalgic moody feeling. The grays are beautiful against those hearth-red bricks. A beautiful shot.
The next shot is a real ganglia of lines and shapes---it's almost abstract. I love the interaction of the umbrella-canopies, the tables, the chairs, and the arches of the distant building. (Plus a spire.) The shot's all about rhythms. You picked the right time of day for this, as the lack of people lets the forms stand out...
then a frontal facade---I assume originally a church or monastic building, which now appears to be a museum. Stark and bare....and the age (medieval I assume?) really sings through...
And finally, you end with a long boat, with beautiful reflections, and a sweet angle...I love how the anchor is reflected upside down in the water...and the tree on the left is like a natural awning...these are very enticing shots, Christian. And from a perfect time of day. We would never know, from your pictures, that this is a city of a quarter of a million people...you've captured it with little human activity. What de Chirico called the mystery and melancholy of a street...
