Description
I know, I know - I just got through saying I was going to be away for a while working on my other site and here I am posting here. What can I say, we artists are a difficult lot to predict.
It seems George rather likes his Aston Martin and made Annette give it back. Who can blame him? But what is poor Annette going to do now that her taste for high-end luxury has been whetted?
SOMEONE took her Special Agent salary and bought herself a new car! And what a car! It's a 2008 Ferrari Scaglietti [English pronunciation guide: skal-yeti] with the manual paddle-shift 6-speed. It needed some love when she found it, so she had it repainted in platinum as part of the overhaul. Ferrari remain interested in each of their very best cars and as of 2009, the Scaglietti was only available via the one-to-one (OTO) program; you had to special order it with custom everything down to the door-handles and pay in advance. When they heard this one was being salvaged rather than consigned to the scrap heap, they offered their technical assistance to the overhaul. It's as good as new now, its as unique as if it were an OTO, and it's hers.
How did a 14-year-old girl manage to get a driver's license? Needs of her job; it seems that variances are available for just about anything if you can show cause, and being a badged Special Agent is apparently sufficient cause. How did she manage to become a badged Special Agent? If you've followed the story this far, then you know - she's just that good.
She's going for her first joyride now. Where's her sister? Who do you think she's going to get right now?

Yep. She fits right in. I just can't decide if you're showing off the Ferrari's elegant interior or "someone's" elegant legs in that third panel! 🤩👍 Nicely done, Jim!

Thank you for complimenting Lacey, the girl under the tree and for your comments here. I don't usually put a lot into the scenery, but this series wouldn't have worked without good supporting scenery.
