Mamon Cake is similar to Angel Food cake. the Ube flavor is something new for your taste buds

there are 1000's of Filipinos in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I probably have met many of them. Houston has 2 locations

I haven't tried it but I watch a lot of cooking shows and that has become a very popular flavor, used mostly in baking. You seem to be very connected to the Philippines, do you have family there?

The last time I tried those was a few years ago when we visited our mom in San Diego, CA. Those are really good and Red Ribbon is one of the top notch bakeries in the Philippines. So they're worldwide now, wow!

there is a bakery in Las Vegas called Valerios next to Sea Food City. both are on Maryland Ave. they bake their products fresh everyday and usually are still warm from the ovens. there is Red Ribbon inside of Sea Food City, but the lady in Valerios are very nice and treat all of their customers very nicely.

I hope to return maybe next year( would be my fifth time to visit there) their food freshly prepared is even more delicious. I can imagine how it tastes
