I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Magnificent dedication piece for those lost souls and another big loss for the shrinking B-17 force. So very sad this happened! Many fine praises from me!

Nice thought, and nice depiction, but what about the other man in the other plane? He died too.
RodS
Yes, he was one of the six and the same sentiment applies to him as well. I'll clarify that.. Thanks.

Very well done Rod! I was shocked, when the news reached me! My Empathy goes to the Families of the deceased ones. What a tragedy! (And, yes as an aviation enthusiast, I think it is a bummer too for the two legendary vintage airplanes. I think there are not much of them in flying condition anymore, are there?)
RodS
That is a sad loss as well. I think there are a very few B-17s in flying condition, but I don't know about the P-36s. Sad all the way around. My own opinion, but I understand the forward / down visibility of a P-36 is pretty miserable. The way the 36 was positioned, I don't think the pilot even saw the B-17, even as big as it was.

Beautiful dedi, Rod, for those who lost their lives in that most unfortunate accident...guess since there were no black boxes, they will never find out the cause...

I hadn't heard about the disaster, and I'm very sorry to hear that 6 people tragically lost their lives. Your image shows an angel guarding the passed, as if she's taken over and is guiding them up to heaven. The plane looks noble; and those clouds are luscious. (I assume that's a sight that all you aviation experts know well---ie, how clouds can seem like a floor of the most exquisite billows and light.) A touching piece, Rod. And all the best on your pursuits. I'm amazed you're posting at all: No one can say you've lost your dedication...
