Description

France: More and more underage migrants are crossing the English Channel to England in rubber dinghies and risking their lives. Before the onset of winter, the crossing should still work ... (2) Colombia: Since 2016, more than 450,000 children from Venezuela came to Colombia to escape the economic crisis - many of them disappeared without a trace. The children of Calais: More and more minors are crossing the English Channel to England in rubber dinghies, risking their lives. A good 40 kilometres separate the French coast from England, the crossing seems to be easy for many, which is why smugglers have recently been sending out more and more rubber dinghies with only children and young people in the hope of a better life in England. Just under a year ago, three children drowned in the process, the youngest being seven years old. How many have lost their lives in recent months is not known. Near Calais, migrants still live in deplorable conditions. Fifty children and teenagers alone live in a wild camp under plastic sheets, they have hardly anything to eat and the cold is hitting them hard. Near the road to the Channel Tunnel, Sudanese minors try to cross the border illegally on lorries carrying cargo to England. Some evenings, families in Calais and Lille take pity on their plight and welcome them for a few days. But now, in autumn, the pressure is mounting on all migrants. Before the onset of winter, the crossing must still work ...! Colombia: children came and disappeared. Since 2016, more than 450,000 children have arrived in Colombia from Venezuela - many of whom have disappeared without a trace. With the start of the mass migration of Venezuelans due to the economic crisis from 2016, more than 450,000 children also left their homeland for Colombia, hoping for a better life in the neighbouring country. It is believed that 12,000 unaccompanied minors have crossed this border, considered one of the most dangerous in the world. Many of them appear to have been forcibly recruited by paramilitary groups or criminal gangs as child soldiers or slaves in the coca fields, and some have been victims of prostitution networks. Local authorities and non-governmental organisations appear to be powerless in the face of the criminal energy of child traffickers. 😢 Source: https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/030273-887-A/arte-reportage/

Gladly, I thought that such a disgusting topic should also be addressed, it was blocked for a few days, but suddenly it was online again!

In the end, it is the suffering that gives you such a heart for others, unfortunately such selfless people are often misjudged and trampled underfoot (like me here in this gallery), karma will find them all. (I will upload tomorrow an animation for our dear Mark)! Thank's for being such a good friend dear Barb!

Another one of the sad realities we are unaware of in general. Thanks for bringing attention and education to this issue.,

A timely and powerful message. As the UK becomes more xenophobic, the problem becomes worse as migrants are forced into ever more desparate acts....
