I'll thank the gardeners myself, in turn :) Each day, about... 1 person... takes care of about... half an acre... of roses. In the summer, that is. Afterwards, there's more :)

That place, with the pond surrounded by vegetation, is being somewhat protected (not that anyone would enter the water for a swim anyway), for didactic-teaching purposes, I guess that students in Biology are being brought over there to learn about the various plants and flowers there, because very near is the Faculty of Biology...
