I am a traditional 2D artist that has slowly moved into 3D modelling, 3D & 2D animation/video. Even though I have been doing it for a few years, I am still learning many things since I started out. I create characters based on some of my old 2D sketches, or sometimes from photographs of family and friends, and naturally others from my own imagination and magazines. My Bio picture is based on an old photo and sketch of me from a Halloween party from years ago for example - I removed the photo as I didn't realise how HUGE it was when you click on Bio!!!!
I also create content for my language business and online shops; and I undertake a limited amount of commission work
My interests are in Archaeology because it's old like me. Culture and History because they are important.
And above all, kindness and honesty because there should more of that in the world.
I don't have social media accounts dedicated to my art because my business takes up a lot of time. However, I have been a deviant art member for many years.
I started with Poser a number of years ago but at the moment I'm doing quite a lot using Reallusion software. It's definitely a learning curve!
Thank you for looking and comments and constructive criticism are very much welcomed! I will always do my best to acknowledge comments, because if people take the time to comment, then I think it only right that I take the time to acknowledge that.

What can I say about the usefulness of spreading manure???

Cylene wins in this (how could you forget about us) production :)
Are you going to work on it in the near future when you get you PC back and finish this good looking piece ?
Mediacandy
Yeah, I think Cylene's movement match the beat better. I did a couple of dance animations several years ago to see if it was a project I could do, but the characters created were not good quality. Although Cylene and Yolanda are newer so I used them for this animation. I may put up a couple of the older ones and you'll see how bad the characters themselves are - but yes, maybe I'll do a dance of with some of my better created characters for fun. Something to chew on anyway 😊

Both girls looked fantastic...I think they need a rematch, I'll place them as a close tie for first place! Your animation work looked great...I specially liked the lighting on the second dancer! :-)
Mediacandy
Thank you! I'll post up an older one I think to get opinions about the actual animation, and if they're ok, then replace the old characters with better ones. Yes, I like the lighting in the second one and I think it suits the character. I quite like the backdrop setting - so maybe a few more dance-offs then a fancy competition. Dunno, just chewing on ideas now! Thanks so much for your comment. It's much appreciated ❤

Nicely done! I know it's old, but how long did it take you to render?
Mediacandy
Thank you! Well, it's made up of 4 different clips. The intro, the first dancer, the 2nd dancer, the credits and the copyright notice. Of the dancers each one only took maybe about 10 - 15 minutes each, possibly. The animation was done separately so moving it up to about 30 - 40 minutes. The intro, credits & copyright were already created. I guess the whole thing from creating and rendering the characters, animating, editing clips in the video suite to the complete finished and rendered project, much have taken a good few days at least. I did work on it constantly. I didn't work on any other project whilst doing this. It's difficult to remember as it was a different machine to what I have now. I'm hoping my new machine will render faster - seems ok so far. - Oh I should say also it was done in iClone which I find easier for animating. Thank you again for your comment 💙
