whoo, more deep northern renaissance rich reds and browns, toasty golds and yellows. This has a lot in common with the last image, but the man expression here is seeking, searching, as he strokes his beard. A beautiful evocation of a historian, Barb. A sage, a great elder. And that light...whoosh...
(To show you the class act I came from, we used to call Herodotus, Thucydides and Tacitus H, Thuc, and Tacky..Sounds like a bad sitcom...That led to "thuc you!"...Oh, and ya know what you call 2 John Cleese's? A Pericles.) (sorry...) A beautiful pair of sagely images here.
