Description
Bodies hips are failing him. he fell this morning to get out of his place to sleep in the garage. I have an appointment on Monday with the vet to euthanize. his remains will be scattered in a pet cemetery
he has been for the most park a really excellent dog, and I will miss him for many years. my older sister had to have her pekinese dog Rusty put to sleep also. he was bleeding from his stomach. He was a very friendly dog also

It's the hardest thing I ever had to do with my Sweetie. With my Renny, I refused to help him with his suffering out of selfishness. This last battle can't be won, but your love and compassion will make it right. I still have dreams about Renny's suffering, but you will have countless memories (and photos) to remind you of the beautiful life you shared. When the time comes, hold him, but don't show your pain, just thankfulness. I wish you well.

Our friends leave an indelible mark on our hearts that is for sure! I know every time one of our friends reaches this stage, I am torn apart at the loss! It is never easy to say goodbye.
That is why all the photos we've taken over the years are such a comfort and bring back such happy memories!
I wish only the best for you and your friend! I have to believe we will meet them again somewhere somehow!

Oh Richard, I am so sorry to hear this...its so very hard losing a beloved companion...I am about to lose one, to have to give him away and its not the same pain but painful still...Big hugs to you, thanks for sharing Bodie with us too
