Description

Early in the morning of December 7th 1941, the Oklahoma begins to capsize, her side ripped open by multiple torpedo hits. Eventually she rolls over burying her superstructure in the mud of the harbor. Many survivors remained trapped in her flooded hull, surviving for 2 days before being pulled from the wreckage. 429 others where not so lucky. Although righted and re-floated in June of 1943, she would never fight again. Thanks! One thing we humans have down to perfection is the ability to destroy ourselves.
