I have walked inside of one of these gliders at a museum in Lubbock, Texas. I had an awesome privilege of knowing a veteran pilot that landed at the Pegasus Bridge. unfortunately he died here in Dallas. also a relative (died also from cancer) from England father was a glider pilot also..outstanding portrayal of a possible scenario

Well made composition. I think the b&w picture is better because the green grass seems to bee too green and so more surreal (oh yes, it's absolutely green here in central Europe, but the green is a bit different).

After seeing the rendered result, I converted the image to black and white with the intention of creating a more realistic historical scene. I used Photoshop for the conversion. Admittedly, the green in this picture might be too strong.
